Update / Teade # 273
KESKUS jumbo glass for spring, core winter heat now
Watch this 1-minute video to see construction progress!
Work ordering has been adjusted to accommodate a wide variety of opportunities and other factors, with the August opening date remaining firm. /// Tööjärjestust on kohandatud, et see arvestaks paljude erinevate tegurite ja võimalustega, kusjuures augusti avamiskuupäev jääb kindlaks.

Once that is done, the jumbo glass will go in, pane by pane, to meet the goal to become watertight as soon as possible. This will allow weather sensitive interior work to begin without additional protection installed. /// Kui see on tehtud, paigaldatakse hiidklaasid, üks paneel korraga, et saavutada eesmärk muuta hoone võimalikult kiiresti ilmastikukindlaks. See võimaldab alustada ilmastikutundlike siseviimistlustöödega ilma täiendava kaitse paigaldamiseta.
With the 20’ tall operable partitions in the grand hall to be installed into the hall via crane from the courtyard, installation of the jumbo glass will await completion of production and installation of those massive partitions. In the meantime, a temporary winter enclosure is going in to protect the core of the building so that interior work can proceed on schedule during the finger-numbing cold. /// Kuna suure saali 6m kõrgused liigutatavad vaheseinad pääsevad sisehoovi kaudu kraanaga saali, ootab hiigelklaasi paigaldamine nende massiivsete vaheseinte tootmise ja paigaldamise lõpetamist. Vahepeal paigaldatakse hoone südamiku kaitsmiseks ajutine talveaed, et sisetööd saaksid näpistava külma ajal ajakava järgides jätkuda..
Soojustatud osas jätkuvad sisetööd.
Interior work includes the mechanical and electrical work that must continue apace in order to meet the August opening date. The record-breaking snowfall Toronto received is being addressed and work is actively adjusted to negate any effect of weather on schedule. /// Sisetööd hõlmavad mehaanilisi ja elektrilisi töid, mis peavad augustikuise avamise kuupäevaks kinnipidamiseks kiiresti jätkuma. Toronto rekordilise lumesaju probleemiga tegeletakse ja töid kohandatakse aktiivselt, et välistada ilmastiku mõju ajakavale.
The sound and physical vibration attenuation in the basement area has been installed and the top floating slab poured. Now the community room with ancillary areas is in the next stage with drywall studs already in place and electrical and mechanical rough-ins underway.
