"Globaalsed eestlased" podcast includes KESKUS supporters in series of 100 notable Estonians

Updated: Feb 17, 2022

Update #124

Andy Prozes, Podcast #50; Ellen Valter, Podcast #51.

The countdown is on! KESKUS International Estonian Centre is heading into construction by late February 2022 in downtown Toronto. Two supporters of KESKUS are recent guests in an in-depth podcast series featuring Estonians around the globe.

Rainer Sternfeld's Globaalsed eestlased podcast series will, when completed, feature 100 notable Estonians from around the world. Rainer is an entrepreneur turned investor who has spent his "career building digital infrastructure for a more sustainable planet and empowering communities".

Every tenth podcast is in English, and Andy Prozes, a lead sponsor of the KESKUS project and the early visionary support for the project, is Rainer's English-language guest in Podcast #50. Ellen Valter, project lead for KESKUS is Rainer's guest in Podcast #51 and this conversation was recorded in Estonian.

Among other topics, both Andy and Ellen talk about the global desire for KESKUS and how it reflects who we are as a diaspora community today. They both comment on how KESKUS will strengthen the relationships of Estonians globally, by promoting Estonian innovation and celebrating our culture and achievements with each other and the world.

These are exciting times for the project as it moves into and through construction. Looking to track project progress from home? Sign up for the KESKUS monthly newsletter here to ensure you don't miss any news or updates.
