KESKUS team and Estonian Canadian Business Chamber share holiday cheer

Update #272

Raising a glass to the end of 2025, and to a productive 2026

Bringing together the holiday social gatherings of KESKUS project volunteers and consultants with members of the Estonian Canadian Business Chamber was a natural fit, as ECBC grew out of the KESKUS project and is now thriving on its own.

As hõõgvein—also known as glögg or mulled wine—flowed freely, so did conversation and connections, underscoring the continued growth of this business network. Guests were also given a preview of what lies ahead, including announcements about upcoming events and the ECBC Annual General Meeting scheduled for April 2026.

With KESKUS site tours attracting visitors from abroad the gifts brought as a 'thank you' were made available to all participants to enter into a draw to take these gifts home. "The KESKUS project is a community effort, and those contributing their energies to the success of the project deserve all our thanks," said Ellen Valter, ECBC President and KESKUS project lead, "passing on the treats that are brought to the site is just one way of sharing the gratitude."

The event was generously sponsored by Northern Birch Credit Union, and thanks go to Tartu College for providing the event space.
