KESKUS progressing, glazing install prep

Almost all of the concrete for the KESKUS site has now been poured, October has seen a lot of redi-mix trucks trundling along Madison Avenue! The infloor heating now lies beneath its concrete protection, installed on the perimeter of all floors of the building.
/// Peaaegu kogu KESKUS-e ehitusplatsi betoon on nüüdseks valatud – oktoobris on Madison Avenue’l palju seguautosid sõitmas nähtud! Põrandaküte on nüüd oma betoonikaitse all, paigaldatud kõigi korruste perimeetrile.
Once the final areas for concrete are poured in the first half of November, we thank all of the forming and pouring crews that have worked on the project. The floor of the portico of the heritage wing of KESKUS has also been poured, the windows will be restored later in the construction process. /// Kui viimased betoonivalud saavad tehtud novembri esimesel poolel, täname kõiki raketiseseadjaid ja betoonivalajaid, kes on projektis osalenud. Muinsuskaitse all oleva maja portikuse põrand on samuti valatud ning aknad taastatakse hilisemas ehitusetapis.

Electrical and mechanical work has reached the third floor where the classrooms/studios and music room are located, as well as the Garden Lobby on the rooftop. /// Elektri- ja torutööd on jõudnud kolmandale korrusele, kus asuvad klassiruumid/stuudiod ja muusikasaal, samuti katuseterassi fuajee.
The exterior cladding system installation has begun, with the second floor south wall the first to start getting closed in. Glazing contractors are on site in intensive preparation for curtain wall install. /// Välisvoodri süsteemi paigaldus on alanud – esimesena suletakse lõunaseina teise korruse osa. Klaasipaigaldajad on juba kohapeal ning valmistuvad intensiivselt fassaadiklaasi paigalduseks.
Looking ahead, KESKUS is aiming to be watertight before the end of the year, please focus your thoughts toward good weather and a mild winter! /// Edasi vaadates on eesmärgiks saada KESKUS aasta lõpuks ilmastikukindlaks – hoiame pöialt hea ilma ja leebe talve eest!
