Salakõrts: Speakeasy ft. Le Brünk & Friends

Not ready to call it a night after FÖÖRST BLÄÄST? Good. Neither are we.

Keep the evening going at Salakõrts, KESKfEST’s after-hours speakeasy. Come join us at Tartu College, right across the street from the KESKfEST tent, where drinks will be flowing, friends will be gathering, and live music invigorates the night!

Salakõrts begins at 11:00 PM and is a ticketed, 19+ event.

Kicking off the night is Le Brünk, a lively, all-Estonian band coming to us from Brussels, Belgium. Formed by European area members of the Estonian diaspora, the group brings a fresh energy to traditional and modern Estonian music. Performing mainly in Estonian, they represent the vibrant contemporary väliseesti (diaspora) core truth: Estonians will gravitate to music and other musicians wherever they may live. Le Brünk captures the warmth and humour of just being together with a casual but energetic vibe.

Le Brünk will get the room going with a set of their original music and diaspora favourites.  From there, the night will continue with Urmas Kärner (New York) and Aarne Tork (Vancouver) joining in to lead "Ühislaulud/Singalong” - the kind of songs everyone knows and can’t help but sing along to - keeping the music, dancing, and late-night atmosphere going.
