About the event
Kick off KESKfEST with FÖÖRST BLÄÄST, an opening-night rock show guaranteed to get the festivities going at full volume!
You may have seen the Kalevipogues at events like Suvihari and LÄÄST BLÄÄST, bringing plenty of energy, familiar favourites, and a great live atmosphere to the stage. Now, they’re helping us open KESKfEST with a night of rock, dancing, and good times.
The Kalevipogues are a group of longtime friends who grew up in Toronto’s vibrant Estonian community and formed a cover band out of their shared love of music and fun. They’ve been playing together on and off for more than 35 years, performing hits from the 1960s right through to the 2020s, along with a few Estonian classics.
The show takes place on August 20 at 7:00 PM in the KESKfEST Tent, band comes on at 8pm. Come ready to sing along, hit the dance floor, and celebrate the beginning of KESKfEST with one unforgettable blast!
