EXPOSED! TTC tunnels on KESKUS site see daylight!

Update / Teade #176

The highlight of the KESKUS construction update this month is the first phase of cleaning off the TTC tunnels on the western half of the site. These haven't been seen for over half a century! The video shows the stages of removal of the soil as the tunnels are uncovered and this process will repeat on the east half of the site once the western half has been repaired, if needed, and waterproofed.

The TTC and their engineers have come to inspect to see if any remediation is required. ///. TTC ja nende insenerid on tulnud kontrollima, kas parandamine on vajalik.

Visiting with Alar Kongats, KESKUS architect and Ellen Valter, KESKUS project lead on site, are Estonia's Ambassador to Canada Margus Rava, and Estonia Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director of NATO and Transatlantic Relations Martin Roger. /// Koos KESKUSe arhitekti Alar Kongatsi ja KESKUSe projektijuhi Ellen Valteriga on kohapeal külas Eesti suursaadik Kanadas Margus Rava ning Eesti välisministeeriumi NATO ja Atlandi-üleste suhete direktor Martin Roger.

Excavation is now down to foundation elevation on the northern half of the site - we are getting closer to Phase II of construction! /// . Kaevetööd on nüüd alanud kuni vundamendi tõstmiseni platsi põhjapoolses osas – oleme lähenemas ehituse II etapile!
